TTHThrough the Heart is a nonprofit organization that focuses on educating about all types of pregnancy loss, including miscarriage, stillbirth, ectopic pregnancy and blighted ovum. The organization was founded in March 2013 by Karen & Sean Kelly of Corpus Christi, Texas. Following the loss of their daughter at 20 weeks, the couple recognized a lack of resources available to them as well as a lack of understanding by others on how to react to the situation. It is their hope that through this organization, pregnancy loss can become a topic that is more openly discussed, acknowledged, and understood.
